SHAYNE PUTZLOCHER
ASSOCIATE PRODUCER

With more than ten years experience in the film and television industry, Shayne's extensive credits include such projects as Canada's most successful narrative comedy series Corner Gas (Brent Butt, Gabrielle Miller), Terry Gilliam's Tideland (Jeff Bridges, Jennifer Tilly), Lullaby For Pi (Forest Whitaker, Rupert Friend), Downloading Nancy (Maria Bello, Jason Patric), Hybrid (Oded Fehr) and The Messengers (Kristen Stewart, John Corbett) which opened number one at the box office in North America in 2007.

Shayne was recently selected along with an elite group of production technicians to travel to Des Moines, Iowa to work on the feature film Ticket Out (Ray Liotta, Billy Burke). This was his second invitation to the United States for work. In 2004 Shayne was hired to organize a project in Ocala, Florida. The project documented a young Canadian equestrian rider and the training of the U.S. Men's Olympic Equestrian team on the road to the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.

In 2005, Shayne started his own production company Genesis Productions Inc. to expand his business opportunities into more services and rentals. The company was named after his first screenplay entitled Genesis .

Recently, Shayne along with two of his industry colleagues created Trilight Entertainment currently in development on a feature film written by Shayne himself. His commitment to independent filmmaking has granted many opportunities for co-production. With a keen eye for details, financing and logistics, his experience is a sought after asset on all productions.

Shayne currently sits on the board of directors of the Saskatchewan District Council of the Director's Guild of Canada as the Vice Chair and the Membership & Training Chair. He co-created the Trainee Assistant Director Course, which provides training to up and coming Assistant Directors.

Shayne has won three Director's Guild Awards for Best Team Achievement in a Television Series.
